The energy that exists in this world is divided into two – Masculine energy and feminine energy. As a part of the laws of the world and the duality in it, everything that was created was as a result of these two energies together – from an idea, the feminine energy, and it’s implementation – the masculine energy. The Ying and the Yang. The sun and the moon.
Regardless if we are men or women, these two energies are a part of us. As women, the feminine energy is the dominant one, and as men, the masculine energy is the dominant one. There are some cases that the dominant energy in a man or a woman is the opposite, but it is not a bad thing. We should pay attention when one of the energies are not healthy or it is ignoring the second energy. I will explain about it later.
What's the masculine energy?
The masculine energy is an energy of doing. It is an energy of setting goals, logic, leading other, limitations, ambitions and it is related primarily to the physical world – to the 3D.
In the Kabbalah, the masculine energy is the light, the direct connection to the divine. Doing is what making the masculine energy close to the light, and by doing, the masculine can give to the feminine unconditionally.
What's the feminine energy?
The feminine energy is the energy of being. It’s the energy of receiving, intuition, internalizing and going within, creativity, flow, devotion.
In the Kabbalah, the feminine energy is the vessel, it's getting the light from the masculine energy. The thing here is not necessarily do as many things to get more light, but to BE and devote ourselves to who we are to get more and more light.
Even Neville talked about these types of energies, from a somewhat different place:
Consciousness is the one and only reality, not figuratively but actually. This reality may for the sake of clarity be likened unto a stream which is divided into two parts, the conscious and the subconscious. In order to intelligently operate the law of consciousness, it is necessary to understand the relationship between the conscious and the subconscious.
The conscious is personal and selective; the subconscious is impersonal and non – selective. The conscious is the realm of effect; the subconscious is the realm of cause. These two aspects are the male and female divisions of consciousness. The conscious is male; the subconscious is female.
The conscious generates ideas and impresses these ideas on the subconscious; the subconscious receives ideas and gives form and expression to them.– Neville Goddard, Feeling is the secret, Chapter one
Women, Men and the inner energy
We aren’t born as men or women for no reason. Everyone has a different role. The man, that generally has the masculine energy as the dominant, is here in order to do. Be in action. Usually, the man will be the logical and practical. He is basically the sun.
On the other hand, the woman, that usually has the feminine energy as the dominant, will be less in the doing and more in being and receiving. She is very intuitive. She will be more creative and emotional than logical. She is the moon. There is no coincidence that the menstruation cycle of a woman is like the cycle of the moon, and women, like the moon, are getting the light of the sun so they can shine themselves.
In relationships, the man is the one that will plan, be in action and do everything for his partner. The fact that the man is giving to the woman, is already fulfilling him spiritually. The woman is the one that will get the material things and support the man emotionally because she is more connected to herself internally. She, of course, will give from herself, but in other ways than a man would, in ways that are more aligned with her.
It’s not about sexism or the way of the old world. We are talking about divine laws in this physical world. Of course we are all one, everyone here is coming from the Source. From Light. From God. And yet – there are laws that are a part of this experience on earth.
Yes, there is the possibility that the masculine energy is the dominant one in a woman, and in man the feminine one. There’s no problem here. In relationship, we will find the missing energy in us – if a woman will be in her masculine energy, she will attract to her a man in his feminine energy. What’s important is to see why it happens and if the dominant energy is healthy or not.
What happens when one of our energies are not balanced or healthy?
Sometimes our dominant energy is not healthy or balanced. It is ignoring the second energy.
For example – a woman in her masculine, but not in a healthy way – will work hard. She won’t be connected to her internal world, and she will generally put a lot of importance on the physical world and be under the control of the matrix. She will ignore her strong intuition as a woman, she will do a lot and will forget that she also need rest and flow in her life. A woman like this will have her nervous system triggered and she will be under a lot of pressure and fears. She won’t trust anyone, especially not herself. Moreover, she won’t be able to express her emotions and even oppress them.
So what can we do in these situations?
Awareness is the first and most important thing here. The understanding that we live in a dominant energy that is not beneficial or healthy for us and there is a need in balancing them. Both of them has to have an effect on our life.
We should reflect (through meditation or intuitive writing) and see where is the lack of expression coming from and how we can change that. It is mainly a long term inner work.
Moreover, we should give space for both of the energies in our life – physical doing in the physical world that connects us to the masculine, and also do something to connect to creativity, to our inner world and our intuition.
