Before I start, it is important to me to stress something – I am not talking about abuse, about situations with toxic people that are hard to get out of etc. Nothing is an excuse for things like these, even if there is a spiritual explanation behind them.
The world is a mirror OR why do we see the same lesson again and again?
Whether we want it or not, our world is a mirror to what we are being. To all of the good inside of us, but also to the shadows that hide behind the ego. Behind the mask.
Have you ever seen that when you are getting into a room, an office or an area with acquaintances, and you are in a good mood, so do all the people around are in a good mood? And when you are in a bad mood, pessimistic or negative, hurt, tired etc, so do the people around you?
This is not a coincidence. At the end the frequency we have, will reflect in the mirror. Add to that our thoughts, thing that we do etc, will be reflected in situations, in people, in some things we will think are mere coincidences.
But nothing is a coincidence. Everything is aligned.
And it’s not only about frequency, but about consciousness. What we believe in, what we imagine, who we are in the moment and also blocks in the subconscious. The world will reflect us the good things and the bad ones. What we want or don’t want (especially if there is something we believe in. And again, for the better or worst).
It’s not a concept, it’s a universal law.
When we are aware to our surroundings, we can pay attention to the same situations that are happening again and again, to the same patterns that hunt us, and see what we hold on inside us. So we actually need to be grateful that we have an unfiltered mirror, so we can work on ourselves. Because everything starts from within – and when we we will do inner work, we will see the change in the 3D.
But what if we do the inner work, and still go through the same lesson again and again?
Obviously it's individual, but from what I understand and I experienced myself, there's still a blockage or a belief that is hidden well in our subconscious, whether we want that or not. Some of the beliefs are very rooted inside, that even if we change the ones that we got to, we still haven’t gotten to the root of it all. There is still something beyond them.
Sometimes we'll avoid to get to the root belief because of the pain. Because it’s hard for us to deal with the truth; with whatever is laying beyond.
I am not saying that it is always necessary to do shadow work or dig deep inside. Because there's a chance that from the change of our state of mind, we'll actually create a change of our beliefs in our subconscious. There are a lot of ways for change, and there is not only one correct way. As I said before – everyone has their own unique way.
I believe in combination of options, but it can differ from one person to another.
Something is not not okay if there is a lesson that is coming back to us again and again. The fact that we actually think that something is wrong with us because of it just stress the character we took in this 3D world. We need to take a step back and remember who we truly are – not the character, not the mask. Not the ego. But God. Source. Nature. Light.
Every lesson that is coming our way, every pattern, every problem, every hardship, is just a little nudge towards awakening. Towards the truth. We won’t always remember who we are when it’s all good and perfect. In the darkness we can see the light.
If a lesson is showing up again, it means we forgot who we are and we need a reminder. It's a reminder that we are too busy with the 3D world, in our physical character, in the mask. The lessons can be hard sometimes, but when we let things be and remind ourselves who we are, the lessons are going to be solved. We don’t need to suffer – the suffering is coming from the resistance we have to things. We shouldn’t make it hard for ourselves or think that things need a lot of time to be solved – changes can be immediate, or take a day or a week or a month. It depends on us and how much we want this change internally.
"The whole vast world is yourself pushed out. All that you behold, though it appears without it is within in your own wonderful human imagination of which this world of mortality is but a shadow."
Neville Goddard
Lessons in the Family
We were born into a specific family, with specific people, for a specific reason. Some family members will be in good terms with us, and some will show us again and again stuff that we don’t like. These specific souls chose to be an important lesson for us, a hard mirror, to what is going on inside or to what our soul wanted to learn here. Think about this world as school. If we will stay here in a very surface level, we will not learn important lessons. We will not grow and evolve. And for that there are some families that teach us in a harsh way than others.
As a personal example, my sister is one of the biggest mirrors and she shows me the most hard lessons I have in my family. Through her I learn to put up boundaries for myself and for my energy. Through her I see my own fears and get validation on them. When I agree to let them pass through me – it’s not affecting me too much. But when I refuse and resist to it – I suffer. It hurts way more.
Usually my sister will show me what I still need to work on – my self esteem, standing on my ground and my values and putting boundaries.
I won’t lie, a lesson in the family is one of the hardest things. Even after a lot of self healing and spiritual growth – I still see stuff showing up all of the sudden. But I know it's my time to show myself that I can go through these. This is the time to show the universe I am done and ready for the next step.
So how can we change the mirror? What can we do in these instances of a lesson coming back again and again?
Here are some options (out of infinite ones) that I recommend. There’s no need for them all, it depends on what you relate and like more:
1. Intuitive writing – non stop writing of what we have in our mind, or by answering questions that can focus us on the trigger, the lesson or the situation we experienced. When we will reread what we wrote, we can make things clearer or even see what is talking from within us – the fear, the belief, the blockage in the subconscious… writing, especially intuitive writing, is a great way to reconnect to ourselves, to understand what is going through us and go through a big transformation.
2. Meditation – meditation can help us relax our nervous system, give us a deeper way of looking at a lesson or situation and help us remind ourselves who we truly are. With meditation we can give space to what we feel and release the lesson that was holding us down.
3. Imagination – using imagination of what we want to happen like it’s happening right now. For example, if we want to manifest a relationship but we always get stuck on the same type of guys or girls – it is not a coincidence. We will imagine the ideal man or woman, and feel like he/she are here with us. The more we imagine it everyday and feel it true – that’s how we will get to know what to do with the lesson and move on.
4. Feeling it real – it relates of course to imagination, but can come also separately. Feeling it real more and more each day to match what we want to feel after we understood the lesson, or the moment we already have what we desire. As Neville used to say – feeling is the secret. At the end everything we want to have is concluded by how we want to truly feel. Why do we want a specific thing? Because it makes us feel a certain way – good, secure, loved etc. But for something to be shown in the mirror – it all starts with how we feel internally. And when we feel it absolutely real, the mirror will reflect it back.
It’s important for me to stress something – even if we learned the lesson, even if we chose to release ourselves from the lesson, usually we will still see it from time to time coming back. It’s one of the ways of the universe to test us and see how we will react. Time is not linear and so some times we will have hard moments that we cannot be compassionate towards ourselves when we see something that we feel bad for us. But here is the real lesson, and it's to take responsibility of our lives. Spirituality is not a one time thing, it is a lifestyle. So exactly in these darker and harder places we can find the best learning. There we can find the light.
Even if we get everything like we want, we need to be aware of the way we react, to the way we see the world. When we get what we desire for so long, sometimes we will get surprised, sometimes we will get excited or even have fears. All of these can intensify the lesson we experienced so many times before.
Be in the moment, let the emotions go through you, and experience. The world is supposed to serve you, and be a direct mirror to help you change and evolve. No need to fear or make too much effort so something will manifest or change – but just being aware.
