Numerology, Astrology, Tarot Readings etc are just different tools that can help us understand our current energy, especially in the beginning of our spiritual journey. We might even use them later on and that’s totally fine. Personally, I like to use them from time to time and learn more about them. It is intriguing and I love learning anything related to spirituality, so why not?
But lately I see that we put a lot of limitations on ourselves if we believe in these things for 100% and think that the information we get from these tools are set in stone and they are going to predict our future. Whether these things are good or bad, it doesn’t matter. The point is that our belief in these things being true is what making things manifest in our reality.
It’s not a bad thing to use these tools. On the contrary, they can be helpful and also the placebo we need. But who has the power to change our life and manifest the reality that we want? Solely us. We are the power that controls everything, under our masks that we wear in this reality. We don’t need anything that will tell us what to do, how to live, what to be.
Neville and the pearl
It’s called, as we first quoted it, the pearl of great price. So great is this pearl, so valuable, that it takes everything that you own to buy it. Now you don’t go and liquidate your stocks and bonds; you don’t sell your homes; you don’t sell anything in the world of Caesar. But it takes everything that you now believe in other than it to pay for it.
You believe in authority? You’ve got to sell it. You believe in numerology, in teacup leaves, in astrology and all these things? No matter what you believe in as a power to control you, you’ve got to sell it. It takes all these beliefs and you’ve got to sell them. No one will buy them from you, but you give them up as valueless. Therefore, there’s no price attached, no value whatsoever. – “The Pearl of Great Price” 4.16.1963 – Neville Goddard
One of the most significant lectures of Neville was about “The pearl of great price”. In his lecture he says that we need to sell everything we know. It’s not about selling some material things, but to sell all of our beliefs that are not serving us like believing in Astrology, Numerology etc. We need to sell the belief that they are what we need to help us get out of any distress or that they are going to tell us how our future will look like. But it doesn’t serve us because of a simple reason and it is that we put all of our power in an external factor. Not a number, not a card, not a star in the sky can identify us and tell us what our future will be – only if we take it as truth. As an absolute truth. The point of “selling” our beliefs will help us bring back the power to ourselves and buy the pearl. And the pearl is our imagination.
And it takes everything that we own as to beliefs that we think are powers to guide our life to pay for that pearl of great price. If you think for one moment you can hold on to one little thing in the event this doesn’t work, you can’t buy the pearl. So when I buy the pearl, I go all out and live by it. And there is no other being in this world, just this pearl, and I live by it. This pearl is your own wonderful human Imagination. That’s Christ.
Imagination is our godly power. It's the truth. It's the reality. So why should we let outer things tell us what's the truth? How we will manifest? What is our purpose? All of these things are coming from within – all of the answers already exist in us. So why do we go and search for all of this on the outside? Why can’t we believe we are the beginning and the end? Everything starts and ends with us – everything we believe in, that we will imagine and feel it as the truth right now – is what will manifest what we want in this reality of illusions. Because everything already exists. Every option, every choice, every situation… there is nothing that we can think of and isn't already exists and just waiting for us to choose it.
The ultimate question
So why there are things that are not working for us? Why sometimes there are things that are accurate if we look at our astrological map or our numerology map? How is it possible that I will sell all of these beliefs and believe only in my imagination? Aren’t these two related?
All of the questions are legitimate, and I can understand where they come from. It's hard for us to understand that nothing has to be complicated. Everything is simple. Who we are under our masks of the earthly character is simple. But we are making things complicated when we use more and more techniques, more and more external information that sometimes is not necessary and as I already said – it can take our inner power because our belief is what making things true.
Everything can change. Everything’s possible.
So yes, our soul chose a certain path that it wants to go through, but we still have free will. We choose what to believe in, who to be, what to do, what we will have or not have. We will have some lessons that we need to go through and learn from so we can expend and evolve. If we won’t learn from them (we won’t go through them in this lifetime), we will need to learn from them in our next lifetime. But it doesn’t mean that we cannot do or be anything we want, even if we have some stuff to learn on the way.
When we believe in our inner power absolutely, we don’t need external approvals, we don’t need to ask question outside of us, using some kind of tools. But we need to believe in it fully. Believing without any restriction. Believing without “but” or “what if it won’t happen…?”.
It will come, of course, after we will try, after we will feel what is the truth and who we are behind the mask we put on ourselves in this life.
Inner feeling
In a spiritual journey that I go through these days, I stumbled upon a very intriguing thing in one of the sessions I had. I am getting into meditation with a spiritual guide (that guides me throughout the session) and I am feeling the sensations in my body. Usually I feel some kind of energetic pressure, and in that session i felt something unpleasant. Some kind of energy that got stuck in my body. And the interesting thing is that when I took out of my consciousness my past, my future and my name – I felt good. I felt like the energy is flowing inside of me like it should. Everything’s possible. Everything’s great. Because behind all of the layers that we put on us – we are pure consciousness. We are such a simple and beautiful being.
And how does it relate to what I talked before? Everything depends on us and starts from us. Our beliefs we got, consciously or subconsciously (whether it is from out family or from other external sources) affect us a lot and these are the things that dictate our life if we let them. But the moment we take off these beliefs, these limitations that we put on ourselves, what we have left with is the absolute truth – the source of who we are. We are not our Mind, we are not our bodies, we are not the limitations and not the future and the past. We are not anything that is not the a particle of God. As parts of God, we have the option to be what we want to be – hence why should we be stuck on certain beliefs, on past and future, on certain tools or studies that only shrink us and our way?
